Smile! AIDA is in town! The 7th and newest "Smile of the Seas" sailed right into the center of Amsterdam last Thursday on her maiden visit to
the Dutch capital. Delivered by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany last month, AIDAblu carried 2,100 German guests on a 7-day cruise from Hamburg to the European capitals.
As AIDAblu's guests set off for Amsterdam's shops and museums, I had a chance to look around this fascinating new ship. She has the first seagoing brewery and meals are served buffet-style
in four themed restaurants and come with complimentary soft drinks, wine and beer. If you
want to see what AIDAblu looks like on the inside, check out our 32
exclusive interior photos
here. Thank you to Norbert Taatgen for allowing us to use these five photos of AIDAblu docked at Amsterdam's Passenger Terminal. |
